As you may know, our Christmas ‘bau-bull’ range featuring the Ushiwear bull with his festive antlers and red nose was sold to raise money for local charity Kirkwood Hospice.
We pledged to donate 10% of profit to the charity and raised a total of £225! Last week we popped down to Kirkwood Hospice to present them with the cheque.
The Hospice is a charity which is close to our hearts and we were really touched by the level of care given so we were delighted to be able to present them with this donation.
Our Christmas ‘bau-bull’ collection featured sweatshirts and cards which proved to be very popular, the range was sold in-store, online and at various events around the region including Harrogate Christmas Market.
It was great fun to design Christmas themed products and they proved to be really popular with children and adults alike.
Kirkwood Hospice fundraiser Lyndsey Richardson said “It has been a pleasure to work with Neil and Jilly on this campaign.
“We rely heavily on the generosity and support of local businesses like Ushiwear and we are overwhelmed by their kind gesture. I’d like to say a huge thank you on behalf of everyone that relies on Kirkwood’s services. The money will make a big difference.”
Love is in the air with our next themed product, Valentine’s Day scarves! Limited editon, only 20 available all signed by me and given their own number 1 – 2. Get yours before they’re gone!
