Wow, what a busy but exciting few months it’s been at Ushi. To all our new customers and followers, thankyou, and welcome to the Ushi tribe!
You may have noticed a few changes around here. Yep, that’s right, we’ve had a bit of a spring clean and launched our brand spanking new site. After months of hard work (and many more months’ deliberation) we were ready to reveal the new look Ushi web to the world… And we love it!
But that’s enough about where we’ve been (read our history blog, here, if you want a bit more info on the journey thus far). In this blog, we want to update you on some of the amazing things we’ve got coming up in the next couple of months!
As a starter for ten, we are officially on countdown to the ultimate VW lover’s fantasy festival – the annual VW Festival at Harewood House. WE. CAN’T. WAIT! We love looking at all the fab vintage vehicles and, more importantly, having the opportunity to meet with you lovely lot.
Anyone planning on stopping by should definitely come and say hello; it’s going to be our first event showcasing our new range.
If cars aren’t your thing, don’t panic! We’ll also be heading back to The Telegraph Ski and Snowboard Show in Manchester in October. It’s been a firm favourite of ours over the past few years, and we’ve made some fantastic friends and built great relationships with some pretty loyal customers. We wouldn’t miss it for the world.
In addition, whilst I keep out of trouble designing and printing our ever evolving range from our shop and Design Shed in Mirfield, we’re also (very excitedly, we must admit) getting involved in a charity fashion show. It’s all a bit hush hush at the moment, but check out our Facebook and Twitter feeds over the next month or so for updates.
So, whilst we are a tad busy, we wouldn’t have it any other way, and we’re over the moon to say the fun doesn’t stop there! All of this increased activity and profiling means we’ve also been getting some exciting attention from some pretty awesome bloggers, and later this month we’ll be updating you on where these new relationships take us.
If you can’t wait until then, why not check out our friends at The Great British Life http://www.greatbritishlife.co.uk/ – they love our stuff so much that we’re already featured on their website.
We’d love to hear from anyone attending any of the events above, or any bloggers interested in working together. For everyone else, we’ll upload some pictures from the VW festival as soon as possible, otherwise check out our social media feeds which will be active over the weekend.
Catch up soon
